2012 Naumburg International Violin Competition First Prize Winner, VC Artist Tessa Lark
The competition will be held in New York from September 18-19, 2021
Open to international chamber ensembles with members under the age of 34, the first prize winner will receive USD $15,000, a fully subsidized New York City recitals, plus a commissioned work.
Hosted by the The Walter W. Naumburg Foundation since 1925, previous first prize winners include: Louis Kaufman, Robert Mann, Berl Senofsky, Joseph Silverstein, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Leonidas Kavakos, Axel Strauss, Frank Huang, and VC Artist Tessa Lark.
