Applications Open for Switzerland’s Tibor Varga Violin Competition [APPLY]

Open to violinists of any nationality 26 years or under, the competition will be held in Sion, Switzerland from the 28th of August to the 4th of September, 2021

Applications are now open for the 2021 Tibor Varga International Violin Competition.

The 1st prize winner will receive CHF 20,000.

The 2021 jury will comprise: Salvatore Accardo (President), Kolja Blacher, Friedemann Eichhorn, Koichiro Harada, Yuzoko Horigome, Ida Kavafian, Pavel Vernikov and Israel.

Previous major prize winners include: VC Artists Ji Won Song and Paul Huang.

Applications to be received by the 15th of April, 2021.
