Applications Open for 2022 Kronberg Academy "Chamber Music Connects the World"
Established in 2000, the festival occurs bi-annually, bringing together internationally-famous artists with the world's top, young string musicians
Applications are now open for the Kronberg Academy's "Chamber Music Connects the World" Festival, held from May 5 to 15, 2022 in Kronberg, Germany.
The 2022 festival's senior artists include Steven Isserlis, Gidon Kremer, Tabea Zimmermann, Sir András Schiff, Christian Tetzlaff, and Jörg Widmann.

2018 Kronberg Academy ’Chamber Music Connects the World’ Festival with violinist and mentor Gidon Kremer — passing on his year's experience and wisdom to violinist Diana Tishchenko, violist Luosha Fang, cellist VC Young Artist Santiago Cañón Valencia and bassist Alexander Edelmann
The "Chamber Music Connects the World" festival connects outstanding young musicians with world-famous professionals. Ensembles will comprise accepted juniors paired with a senior artist who will serve as a teacher and chamber music partner.
Open to international musicians born in or after 1994, there are no costs for attending the festival thanks to the sponsorship of the Crespo Foundation.
Applications are due November 26, 2021, with auditions occurring March 1 and 2, 2022.
