The 28 opening round candidates for the 2017 Tibor Varga International Violin Competition Sion Valais have been announced
The 28 opening round candidates for the 2017 Tibor Varga International Violin Competition Sion Valais have today been announced – to be held in Sion, Valais, Switzerland from the 22nd to 29th August.
The 2017 competitors are:

Open to international applicants aged 26 and younger, the 1st prize winner will receive CHF 15,000 (US $15,000).
The 2017 jury will comprise: Esther Hoppe, Silvia Marcovici, Lera Auerbach, Dong-Suk Kang, Pavel Vernikov and Miguel De Silva.
