“We first heard about Maximilian through Anne-Sophie Mutter, who has been a big advocate of his for many years ..." Manager, Martin Wittenberg from Columbia Artists New York has told The Violin Channel.

"There is a truly outstanding younger generation of cellists performing today, but we think what sets Maximilian apart are his natural musicality, his innate sense of musical style, the beautiful lyricism of his playing ... and his communicative and easygoing approach ... ” he has said.

“Maximilian is already a regular with many great orchestras and a favorite musical partner of conductors such as Bernard Haitink, David Zinman and Yannick Nezet-Séguin ... we fully expect him to grow further to become one of the most sought-after and impactful string soloists."

Columbia Artists' esteemed roster includes Lynn Harrell, Annie-Sophie Mutter, Vadim Repin, Julian Rachlin, Khatia Buniatishvili, Menahem Pressler, Olga Kern, Valery Gergiev, Leonard Slatkin, Fabio Luisi, Seiji Ozawa, Jaap van Zweden and Vladimir Spivakov.

Maximilian will be managed in North and South America by Martin Wittenberg and Stefana Atlas from the Sheldon/Atlas office within Columbia Artists New York - and with Karsten Witt Musik Management Berlin for European and general management.
