"Having been a violinist myself, I have studied most of the great violin concertos of the past - and therefore I endeavored to write a work in the traditional three movements that would be a challenge but also a pleasure for a good violinist to perform ..." Mr Adler has told The Violin Channel.
"The first movement is a complex one with portions of exhilarating moments as well as moments of struggle ... the second should leave the audience with a feeling of beauty only music can inspire and an emotional calm coming from the melody which permeates the movement ... the final movement should again exude excitement and a happy spirit which show off the virtuosity of the performer..." the longtime Eastman School of Music and Juilliard School faculty member has said.
"I hope that this work of mine would give the audience an experience both of the excellence of the violinist and a range of emotional feelings."
