VC Artist Dover Quartet Appointed to Curtis Institute of Music Faculty

The Curtis Institute of Music has announced the appointment of VC Artist Dover Quartet as its new Ensemble-in-Residence

The Curtis Institute of Music, in Philadelphia, has today announced the appointment of VC Artist Dover Quartet as its new Ensemble-in-Residence – effective from the 31st of August.

Comprising violinists Joel Link and Bryan Lee, violist Milena Pajaro-Van de Stadt and cellist Camden Shaw and graduates of the Curtis Institute of Music and the Rice University Shepherd School of Music, the Dovers are former top prize winners at the Fischoff, Wigmore Hall and Banff International String Quartet Competitions – and recent recipients of the prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award, the Lincoln Center Hunt Family Prize and an Avery Fisher Career Grant.

“Thanks to the generosity of Penelope Watkins, the Dover Quartet and Curtis have the tremendous opportunity to partner together to completely reimagine the career path possibilities of a revolutionary, modern ensemble,” Curtis Institute of Music President, Roberto Díaz has said today.
