FLASHBACK FRIDAY | VC Rising Star Chloe Chua Performs Wieniawski's Scherzo Tarantelle in 2014
The then 7-year-old violinist performs at the Singapore Raffles Music Competition (SRIMF)
A student of Yin Ke at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts School of Young Talents, Chloe's recent solo engagements include performances with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, China Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, AFA festival Orchestra, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Russian National Youth Orchestra, Kammerorchester Basel, and the China Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2018, she was awarded Joint First Prize in the Junior Division of the Menuhin Competition — becoming one of the youngest prizewinners in the history of the event.
She currently performs on a 1729 violin by Peter Guarneri of Venice on a generous loan from The Rin Collection.
This week, Chloe is being featured as the VC Rising Star of the Week.
