Prizes Awarded at 2016 Grumiaux International Junior Violin Comp
The category prizes have been announced at the 2016 Grumiaux International Violin Competition, in Namur, Belgium.
1st prize in the 21 years and under category was awarded to 21 year old Yurina Arai, from Japan.
2nd prize was awarded to 19 year old Sumina Studer, from Switzerland.
Joint 3rd prize was awarded to 18 year old Sarah Jegou, from France - and 18 year old Suzanne Durand-Riviera from France.
