Applications are now open for the 2018 IsangYun International Cello Competition – to be held in Tongyeong from the 28th of October to the 3rd of November

Applications are now open for the 2018 IsangYun International Cello Competition – to be held in Tongyeong, South Korea from the 28th of October to the 3rd of November, 2018.

Open to international cellists aged between 15 and 30, the 1st prize winner will receive KRW 30,000,000 (USD $27,000) – plus a number of important debut opportunities.

The 2018 jury will comprise: Myungwha Chung (Chairperson), Valentin Erben, Ko Iwasaki, Anssi Karttunen, Paul Katz, Alexander Knyazev, Kangho Lee, Luigi Piovano and Jian Wang.

Applications to be received by the 6th of August, 2018.
