OUT NOW | Violinist Nicola Benedetti's New Recording: 'Elgar Violin Concerto' [LISTEN]

"I hope people reconnect with the un-cynical romance. He was so out of the ordinary. There is only one Edward Elgar."

This month, Decca Records announced the release of Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti's newest album: 'Elgar Violin Concerto'.

Recorded with conductor Vladimir Jurowski and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the disc features Elgar's Violin Concerto in B Minor, 'Sospiri' Op. 70, 'Salut d'amour' Op. 12 and 'Chanson de Nuit' Op. 15 No. 1.

"I’ve been in love with the man and his music for many years now, and this concerto lives in a world of its own," Nicola told The Violin Channel.

"I hope people reconnect with the un-cynical romance. He was so out of the ordinary. There is only one Edward Elgar," she said.
