Pianist Hayato Sumino, aka Cateen, has released his newest album, "Human Universe," on Sony Classical. This album showcases a diverse selection of works by Bach, Handel, Purcell, Chopin, Fauré, and Debussy, film composers Hans Zimmer and Ryuichi Sakamoto, as well as Sumino’s own compositions and arrangements.
Consisting of 16 tracks, Sumino's musical world is represented with themes of music, the universe, and the connection of human hearts.
By performing works that were originally performed by an orchestra, Sumino showcases his arrangement skills as a composer along with his own compositions, Human Universe, 3 Nocturnes, Memories, and more.

Based in New York, the Japanese pianist and composer, Hayato Sumino, has garnered over 1.5 million followers globally across his platforms with nearly 200 million views on YouTube under the name, 'Canteen.' Sumino began his music career following his success at the PTNA Piano Competition in 2018, winning the Grand Prix. He gained international attention in 2021 as a semi-finalist at the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition, where he reached the semifinals and gained over 8.5 million views on YouTube.
