New York's 2020 Contemporary Violin Makers Exhibition Postponed
Reed Yeboah Fine Violins will now host the event in 2021
The 2020 Contemporary Violin Makers Exhibition, typically held in New York City, is postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Hosted annually since 2011 by Julie Reed Yeboah and Yi-Ping Yang from Reed Yeboah Fine Violins, the event brings together living instrument makers to display their violins, violas, and cellos for musicians to play, see, and hear.
"As dearly as we treasure the opportunity to gather, share and celebrate with you each fall, our first priority has to be the health and safety of the community. With all credible authorities imploring that we all limit travel and avoid gatherings, we cannot in good conscience host an exhibition this year," Julie Reed Yeboah said.
