Russian violinist Irina Bochkova has passed away - aged 81

Russian violinist Irina Bochkova has passed away - aged 81.

Ms Bochkova held long time Professorships on faculty at the Moscow State Conservatory, the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory and the Central Music School - and served on the jury of a number of prominent international violin competitions.

Our condolences are with her family, friends, colleagues and students.
