“I am deeply honoured to join the Singapore Symphony Orchestra as Co-Principal Guest Concertmaster," said Coucheron. “My past experiences with the orchestra were highlighted by the tremendous talent and passion of its musicians and I look forward to contributing to SSO’s musical excellence in the upcoming 2024/25 season.”

He previously held the position of Co-Leader in the London Philharmonic Orchestra and has guest appeared at the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestras, the Houston Symphony, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, the Taiwan Philharmonic, and the SSO amongst others.
“I have many fond memories with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, from our first performance together in 2019 to adjudicating at its National Piano & Violin Competition last year,” adds Lin. “So I am eager to strengthen my relationship with the SSO further in this new role and connect with the Singapore audiences on a deeper level.”
