Sony Music Announces Acquisition of Film & Score Label Milan Records

Sony Music Masterworks has announced the acquisition of the TV and film soundtrack and film score label, Milan Records

Sony Music Masterworks has this week announced the acquisition of the Los Angeles-based TV and film soundtrack and film score label, Milan Records.

Founded by Emmanuel Chamboredon, in 1978, the label has been responsible for thousands of entertainment industry soundtracks including The Brothers Grimm, Dead Silence, The Elephant Man, Fantastic Four, Ghost, Miami Vice, Rambo, Stargate, Twilight, Deadpool, Birdman and Midsommar.

“I am delighted to welcome Milan Records to Sony Music Masterworks and look forward to bringing its projects, artists and unique identity to a global audience ... ” Sony Music Masterworks Chief Operating Officer Mark Cavell has this week said.

"My dream was to ensure that Milan Records, which I started 41 years ago, would continue once I hung up my gloves ... today that dream has come true ..." Emmanuel Chamboredon has this week said.
