Along with this new teaching position, Timothy will continue expanding his solo performance career.
"Very excited to start a new chapter of my life as a tenure-track professor at the University of Ottawa in addition to my career as a soloist," said the 27-year-old Joseph Joachim and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition major prize winner.
"I'm a huge advocate in guiding young people to become leaders in the 21st century while exploring the numerous possibilities in being a musician today. In addition, I’m thrilled to continue building my performing career so that I can share these experiences with aspiring violinists. This is an incredible position to be in, and I am grateful to have this opportunity at this point in my career."
