VC YOUNG ARTIST | Aurélien Pascal, 22 - Queen Elisabeth, Paulo & Feuermann International Cello Comp Prizes

22 year old French cellist Aurélien Pascal is quickly building an international reputation as an emerging young concert artist of outstanding potential.

A student of Frans Helmerson and Gary Hoffman at the Kronberg Academy, Aurélien is a former major prize winner at the Paulo and Emanuel Feuermann International Cello Competitions – and in June of this year, was awarded 4th prize at the inaugural Queen Elisabeth International Cello Competition, in Belgium.

His recent performances include solo engagements with the Moscow Tchaikovsky Symphony, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrucken, Nuremberg Symphony, Kammerakademie Postdam, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Monte Carlo Philharmonic and Barcelona Symphony Orchestra. 

Aurélien is currently under management with Kajimoto Artists - and performs on a 1850 Charles-Adolphe Gand cello.
