Finalists Announced at Vietnam International Chamber Music Competition

The 6 ensembles progressing to the Final stage of the 2019 inaugural Vietnam International Chamber Music Competition have been announced

The 6 ensembles progressing to the Final stage of the 2019 inaugural Vietnam International Chamber Music Competition have today been announced – in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The 2019 Finalists are:

• Agosto Piano Quintet (Vietnam)
• Amici Quartet (Vietnam)
• Comme Toi Piano Duo (South Korea)
• Duo DuoCHTT (Vietnam)
• L’Espoir Trio (Vietnam)
• Ulysses Quartet & Trung (Vietnam/Poland/United States/Canada)

Open to international ensembles with an average age of 30 years and younger, the 1st prize winning chamber group will receive US $8,000.

The 2019 jury comprises: Cong Duy Bui (President), Max Levinson (Chair), Tetsuji Honna, Kyung Sun Lee, Natalya Likhopoy, Eugene Osadchy, Susan Dubois, Chuong Vu, Gregory Lee and Chika Murata.
