The Poznan Philharmonic has announced Japanese violinist, Midori as its new Artist-in-Residence for the 2019-2020 season
The Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, in Poznan, Poland has this week announced Japanese violinist, Midori as its new Artist-in-Residence for the 2019-2020 season.
The 47-year-old violin virtuoso will succeed VC Artist Bomsori Kim and Norwegian soloist Henning Kraggerud in the role - who served as this year's Soloists-in-Residence and Artists-in-Residence.
Midori's first concert of the residency will be on the 18th of October - performing Prokofiev’s 1st Violin Concerto with the ensemble.
