VC YOUNG ARTIST | Johan Dalene, 20 — “Rare Passion, Unique Style, Glow and Profound Skills”

20-year-old Swedish violinist, Johan Dalene, has been praised by worldwide critics and audiences for his extraordinary sensibility and musicality

A student of Janine Jansen and Per Enoksson at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Johan is the most recent winner of the Norwegian Soloist Prize and a former major 1st prize winner at the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition.

His recent debuts include performances with all the major Scandinavian orchestras, as well as the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. Johan also served as the Artist-in-Residence of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in its 2020/2021 season. His upcoming performances include debuts with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, and Konzerthausorchester Berlin, as well as solo recitals at Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall.

Johan currently performs on a 1736 Stradivarius violin on generous loan from the Anders Sveaas' Charitable Foundation.

He is currently under worldwide general management with Enticott Music Management, in London.

This month, Johan released his second album on the BIS Label entitled, "Nordic Rhapsody."
