Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on this day in 1756 – 260 years ago.

Mozart is remembered in history as one of the most prolific and influential composers of all time.

He composed over 600 works – many acknowledged as pinnacles of the symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic and choral repertoire.
