Applications are now open for the 2017 M-Prize Chamber Arts Competition - to be held in Ann Arbor, United States from May 1st - 4th, 2017.
Hosted by the Michigan School of Music, the Grand Prize winning ensemble will receive USD $100,000 - plus a number of important performance opportunities.
Open to ensembles of between 2 and 10 members, the competition will be hosted in String, Wind and Open divisions.
This year’s string jury comprises: Norman Fischer, Rodney Friend, Awadagin Pratt, Astrid Schween and Harvey de Souza.
Previous 1st prize winners include the New York-based Calidore String Quartet.
Applications to be received by February 1st, 2017.
