Violinist Francesca dePasquale Appointed to Oberlin Conservatory Teaching Faculty
The Oberlin Conservatory has announced the appointment of violinist Francesca dePasquale to its teaching faculty
The Oberlin Conservatory, in Ohio, United States, has this week announced the appointment of American violinist Francesca dePasquale to its violin teaching faculty - effective from the commencement of the 2020-2021 academic year.
A graduate of The Juilliard School and the Colburn School, Francesca is a former 1st prize winner a the Irving M. Klein International String Competition - and she has served teaching positions on faculty at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, The Juilliard School Pre-College Program and the Heifetz International Music Institute.
“It is a tremendous privilege to welcome Francesca dePasquale to Oberlin ... she is a performer of superlative skill, and she excels in mentoring highly talented young musicians ... she will be an extraordinary asset to our students and community,” Conservatory Dean, William Quillen has this week said.
