We're coming to you from the Kronberg Academy in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany, for the weekly concert of the Kronberg Academy Young Virtuosi Series, featuring double bassist Dominik Wagner. For this concert, entitled "Klassik, Jazz, Tango," Dominik is joined by violinist Elias David Moncado and pianist Martina Consonni.

A student of Kronberg Academy's Professional Studies Program since 2023, Dominik Wagner has performed with major orchestras worldwide, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, WDR Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, and the German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen. He has appeared in notable concert halls, such as the Musikverein Wien, Konzerthaus Wien, Konzerthaus Berlin, Herkulessaal Munich, Gasteig Munich, Carnegie Hall, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. He has received prizes at the ARD Music Competition, the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition, and the International Bradetich Competition.

Every Wednesday at 12 PM (ET), audiences can watch an hour-long concert featuring the Kronberg Academy's students from the Professional Studies program and the Sir András Schiff Performance Program for Young Pianists. Recorded at the Carl Bechstein Hall, the recital programs were designed by the young artists themselves, and often feature their friends from the Academy’s Bachelor and Master programs performing alongside them.
