Applications Open to Classeek’s 2024-25 Ambassador Programme

The one-year career enhancement experience bolsters the audience, musical network, and skills of its young artists on track for a career in classical music

The Switzerland-based organization, Classeek, created its Ambassador Programme in 2018 to provide support for promising young classical musicians who are ready for a performance career at the highest level.

About the Ambassador Programme

Open to instrumentalists and composers, aged between 18 and 30 (as of August 1, 2024), the one-year tailored program increases the artists’ overall visibility via Classeek’s network of ambassadors, provides the artist with promotional materials, acts as conduits to relevant industry professionals, and develops young artists’ entrepreneurial skills and personal goals.

In addition to the career development, the artists receive the opportunity to perform a private concert in Classeek’s recital hall in Aubonne, Switzerland, to an invited audience of promoters, industry figures, and musical philanthropists. The concerts are also live-streamed to an international audience, attracting hundreds of viewers from over 25 countries.

The applications are open until February 11, 2024. To apply and learn more, click here.

"Since its inception, I strongly believed talent could shine regardless of location, connections, and/or financial constraints," said Classeek's founder Catarina Amon. "We’re looking for fresh voices and new talents that we have never heard before and source these talents through Classeek."

Application Criteria

To apply, artists need a ClasseekLink account (complete with a bio and at least one photo), 2-4 performance/composition videos (minimum of 10 minutes), and a filmed personal introductory video. Instrumentalists will also need a Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent degree to apply. There is an application fee of €40, but once accepted, artists do not have to pay for the program.

Entry into the initiative for the remaining artists of the program is via nomination by some of Classeek’s internationally renowned Artist Ambassadors, who will be announced soon for the upcoming season.

Tune in to The Violin Channel for two current Classeek Artist recitals by violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua on February 8, and cellist Madelyn Kowalski on March 28.
