Tune in from June 2 from 6PM (EST) to witness the finals of this year's competition, streamed live from San Francisco

We're coming to you LIVE from San Francisco, California, for the 2024 Klein International String Competition. This year's participants will be competing for the top prize of a $5,000 cash award, a full recital performance at the Gualala Arts Chamber Music Series, concerto performances with the Santa Cruz Symphony, Peninsula Symphony, and San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, as well as performances as part of the Music in the Vineyards Festival.

The 3 finalists of this year's competition are:

  • Pearl de la Motte, viola, 20 (New York) | Attends the Juilliard School and studies with Hsin-Yun Huang
  • Francis Tsai, violin, 18 (Alabama) | Attends Hope Christian School and studies with Jennifer Liu and Eric Tsai
  • Amelia Zitoun, cello, 18 (Wisconsin) | Attends Shorewood High School and Music Institute of Chicago Academy and studies with Hans Jørgen Jensen
