Who would you nominate to have their own reality tv show?
Xavier Foley. I'd love to see the fearless and infinitely creative Xavier go about his days, as well as his stories from his bass recording/road trip adventures!
What is something that has sparked joy for you in the past year?
Graduating from college! It was such an overflow of emotions reminiscing my own growth both as a person and as a musician, though especially meaningful recognizing the journey my peers Juilliard class of 2021 embarked on since our first adult steps in 2017.
What are some challenges you have faced during your study of classical music?
A common struggle I faced throughout my musical career was stage anxiety and the fear of judgment while performing. During the past two years when the whole world had a rare opportunity to think introspectively about our craft and livelihood, I was able to reconsider my goals as an artist. Itʻs with this reaffirmation that Iʻm better able to focus my creative and musical energy entirely on my love for music.
