Tune in on April 24 at 12 PM (ET) for a program of Mozart and Schubert
We're coming to you from the Kronberg Academy in Germany, for the sixth concert in the Kronberg Academy Young Virtuosi Series, featuring violinist and VC Young Artist Maria Ioudenitch. Maria is joined by pianist Jérémie Moreau and cellist Minji Kim.
Born in Balashov, Russia, Maria moved with her family to Kansas City, Missouri, USA, when she was three years old. Currently enrolled in the Professional Studies program at the Kronberg Academy where she works with Christian Tetzlaff, she completed her Bachelor’s at the Curtis Institute of Music and her Master’s and Artist Diploma at New England Conservatory. In 2021, Maria received first prizes in the Ysaÿe, Tibor Varga and Joseph Joachim International Violin Competitions.
Every Wednesday at 12 PM (ET), audiences can watch an hour-long concert featuring the Kronberg Academy's students from the Professional Studies program and the Sir András Schiff Performance Program for Young Pianists. Recorded at the Carl Bechstein Hall, the recital programs were designed by the young artists themselves, and often feature their friends from the Academy’s Bachelor and Master programs performing alongside them.
