Dutch violinist Theo Olof died on this day in 2012 - aged 88.

A student of Oskar Back, Mr Olof was former prize winner at the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition and served as long time Co-Concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
