Russian violinist and pedagogue Asya Kushner has passed away

Russian violinist and pedagogue Asya Kushner has passed away.

A student of Leonid Kogan at the Moscow Central Music School and the Moscow State Conservatoire, Ms Kushner served as Concertmaster of the Moscow State Philharmonic from 1972 until 1988 - and held a long term teaching Professorship at the Moscow State Conservatoire.
