Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France Appoints Assistant Conductor

French conductor Lucie Leguay will be the new Assistant Conductor to Music Director Mikko Franck

She will share the position with Finnish conductor Emilia Hoving, who started the role in January 2020.

Leguay, aged 30, currently serves as the assistant conductor at the Verbier Festival, a position which runs from 2019 to 2021.

She is also the former assistant conductor for the Ensemble Intercontemporain and Orchestre National d’île de France in Paris, Orchestre National de Lille, and Orchestre de Picardie.

Trained by Jean-Sébastien Béreau, she has collaborated with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Lahav Shani, Gabor Takacs-Nagy, Manfred Honeck, and Fabio Luisi.
