VC Artist Attacca Quartet Joins MKI Artists

The string quartet is now part of the artist management agency for North American representation

The GRAMMY Award-winning VC Artist Attacca Quartet comprises violinists Amy Schroeder and Domenic Salerni, violist Nathan Schram, and cellist Andrew Yee.

The group has now joined MKI Artists, a full-service artist representation agency founded in 1956, which has been led by John Zion since 2015. The company’s roster includes violinists Rachel Barton Pine and William Hagen, among others. 

Attacca Quartet’s acclaimed albums include its 2019 release Orange, in collaboration with Caroline Shaw, which won the 2020 GRAMMY Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance; and Evergreen, which won the 2023 GRAMMY in the same category.

The group has performed at Carnegie Hall, Phillips Collection, Chamber Music Detroit, the Ojai Festival, as well as at the Gothenburg Konserthuset, Italy’s MITO Septembre Festival, Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao, Strijkkwartet Biennale Amsterdam, Strings of Autumn Festival Prague, Thüringer Bachwochen, Sala São Paulo, Fundación Beethoven, National Theatre of Panamá, and Teatro Mayor.

Formed in 2003, the Attacca Quartet is also a first prize winner at the Osaka, Melbourne, and Coleman Chamber Music Competitions.
