VC LIVE | 5th Zhuhai International Mozart Competition - Final Round Group A (Violin)

We're coming to you LIVE from the Zhuhai International Music Competition for the Final Round of Violin Group A which features artists 12 years and under.

The final round candidates of Group A include:

• Xingchi Shen
• Ziqian Yu
• Yeonah Kim
• Laura Jin

The first-prize winner of Group A will receive $7,500.

Established in 2015, the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition is presented by the University of Mozarteum Salzburg and held for emerging violin and piano players. The competition not only focuses on young musicians’ virtuosity but also attaches great importance to their understanding and interpretation of classical music style.

This year's violin jury comprises of the following members: Paul Roczek, Chairman, Soon-Mi Chung Barratt-Due, Radu Blidar, Harald Eggebrecht, David Frühwirth, Kun Hu, Dora Schwarzberg, Weidong Tong.
