Michigan's Verdehr Trio Announcement Retirement After 43 Years

The Michigan-based Verdehr Trio, comprising violinist Walter Verdehr, clarinetist Elsa Ludewig-Berdehr and pianist Silvia Roederer, has today announced their retirement – after 43 seasons.
Founded in 1972, as an in-residence ensemble of the Michigan State University, the trio has toured more than 58 countries - and commissions in excess of 200 new works for the violin-clarinet-piano arrangement.
