21-year-old American cellist Oliver Herbert will join the roster of Opus 3 Artists New York - for global general management

It has been announced that 21-year-old American cellist Oliver Herbert will join the roster of Opus 3 Artists New York - for global general management.

A current student of Carter Brey and Peter Wiley at the Curtis Institute of Music, Oliver is a former top prize winner at the Witold Lutoslawski International Cello Competition -  and the Klein and Stulberg International String Competitions.

His recent engagements include solo performances with the San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic - and the Las Vegas Philharmonic.

"I'm so happy to be working with Opus 3 ... and look forward to dreaming up many musical projects together," Oliver has told The Violin Channel.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be working with such an extraordinary talent ... Oliver is very special," new manager, Christina Baker from Opus 3 New York has said.
