"In classical music we talk about concerts – but to continue to engage new listeners in new ways, we should transform our concerts into events. The third part of my miniseries Curating the Concert Experience explores the concept of Platform: exploding a concert into an event that complements the program with sympathetic artists from different genres, featuring them in normally empty parts of a concert," Mason has this week told The Violin Channel.
