This concert features the Pavel Haas Quartet performing works by Suk, Martinů, and Korngold.

The Pavel Haas Quartet comprises violinists Veronika Jarůšková and Marek Zwiebel, violist Šimon Truszka, and cellist Peter Jarůšek.

Founded in 2002, the quartet's recordings include major works by Janáček, Haas, Dvořák, Smetana, Prokofiev, Schubert, and Shostakovich – winning top international awards. For their eight albums released so far, the ensemble has earned the Gramophone Award six times and the BBC Music Magazine Award twice.
