Legendary Italian operatic tenor Carlo Bergonzi has passed away – aged 90.

A Verdi specialist, Maestro Bergonzi will long be remembered for his beautiful lyricism and diction, smooth legato, warm timbre and elegant phrasing.

Our condolences are with his family, friends and colleagues.
