2021 Cremona Musica Exhibitions and Festival to Proceed
The global event will take place from September 24 to 26 in the Cremona Exhibition Centre and in downtown Cremona, Italy
Cremona Musica, a renowned global exhibition for high-quality musical instruments, will proceed with its 2021 edition— which includes concerts, exhibitions, competitions, and conferences.
"Our aim is that of involving a wide audience of professional and amateur musicians, of instrument and accessories makers, of dealers, music publishers, teachers and students, investors, artistic directors," reads a Cremona Musica statement.
The event will feature over 200 exhibitors and 100 events aimed to showcase a strong restart of the music sector after it has suffered insurmountable losses for a year and a half due to COVID-19.
For the first time, Cremona Musica Downtown will be the center of much of this year's activity — featuring a meeting between Trade Show and City Centre, which was born out of Cremona Musica's special 2020 edition and will continue as a permanent tenet of the event.
Exhibitions will feature instruments created by Cremonese, Italian, and international masters. Events such as the Cremona Mondomusica, Piano Experience, Acoustic Guitar Village, and Accordion Show will show several collections of fine instruments. As part of the Mondomusica event, Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos will be awarded the prestigious Cremona Musica Award.
The full list of events and exhibitions is available here and on the Cremona Musica website.
The exhibitions and festival will take place in compliance with local health rules and protocols, according to a Cremona Musica release.
